I Lose in Arguments By: Md. Anser Ali In others’ eyes, I’m quite the fool, Yet never deceitful, that’s my rule. Even when I know the truth so clear, I lose the debate, without any fear. A brief defeat, a lasting gain, I win in silence, not in vain. Those who win in heated talk, Often help with truth as they walk. When facts arise, I do not fight, Well-wishers sulk, though I know they’re right. Time’s my friend, and patience deep, Losing the quarrel, my peace I keep. When victors find their proof at last, Grateful, I smile—my pride held fast.
