maybe if i, go out into the world searching through a sea of eyes hoping yours will meet mine you will appear? maybe if i close my eyes squint them tight and then open, you will appear? maybe if i check my chart or check the stars to see what is coming, you will appear? maybe if i take a look at the cards shuffle through my decks what jumps out? what can i understand? when will you appear? maybe if i get on my knees put my hands together hold them tight speak a few words to my God, you will appear? maybe in my mind’s eye if i imagine you and i maybe just maybe you will come to life? you will appear? i’m staring at an empty void looking at a blank wall laying in an empty bed holding a quiet phone waiting for you to appear. now i’m not so sure. i’ve done it all. everything i can try. i don’t know what to do. hard to believe you’ll show now… will you ever appear?
