It’s been over a year since I saw you Do you miss me? Do you think about me every so often? Does your heart get filled with a dull pain like mine? Do you remember that night? It was 2am and I couldn’t sleep. I went to the window to get some air and look up at the night sky And there you were shining brighter than any other star You in all your fairness made the moon a fool You, oh so lovely you Dancing alone in the enchanted night sky And as your hair flowed so perfectly with the wind My heart started aching, screaming, begging, crying, yearning I had never wanted anything so much in my life as to be willing to just leave everything behind for a chance to be with you But now you’re far away Etched into my night sky How painful it is for you to tease me so with just this view Every night I look out my window And I still see you dancing Are you waiting for me to join you? Will I see you if I leap?
