Torrents lash these hollow bones, venom clotting in each sigh Hands curl into claws, craving a pulse that fled in shadows I spit your name like poison, syllables burning my tongue Salt rivers scald my throat, no ocean vast enough for this grief You carved caverns in my ribs, called them sanctuaries Every vow a dagger, each promise a slow hemorrhage Ash coats my mouth where your honey once dripped Ruin blooms beneath my sternum, thorned and unrepentant Need curdles to rage, a crimson snarl in midnight corridors Incantations of your touch now shriek behind my teeth Nocturnes I once cradled now scream against my skull Ghost-light flares in my eyes, fevered and feral Wrath braids itself through my veins, singing requiems of betrayal Inside me smolders a cathedral of curses in your shape Litanies of our nights scald my marrow, unwanted relics Lament drips from my wrists, a funeral for my gentleness Knives of your memory twist through my spine's hollow choir I bloom thorns instead of forgiveness, crown myself in ruin Love rotted in your grasp, left me carrion for my own longing Lament becomes my tongue, venom becomes my hymn Mercy lies strangled beneath my shattered ribs Elegy sharpens into talon — I rise, aflame in my own ash
