"Icarus laughed as he fell, for he knew that falling meant he had soared." You held your heart and soul in your hands, So you let it fly and be free. The people shouted in your honor. Your name, ringing from the rooftops. but deep within you was an ache. an echo of the past that you could not hold any longer. so as you ran and rejoiced you slipped and fell. and in that moment, the world seemed to fall silent. you screamed and you cried for a second chance, but no longer could you grit your teeth and smile through your pain. you had the world in your hands but you could no longer bear the weight.
