With love, I never learned to breathe deep. I never learned to hold with open hands; I never learned to be still with love. So if you love me hold me tightly, please. Do not let me fall beside my silence; Do not let me wait here with closed fists. Teach me what love can be for girls like me. Guide me along the stream of deep feelings; Where you and I can belong for a time.
