In the darkness will u light up the candle for a while,
In these hot days of summer,,,,
Will you talk to me with a smile
When the sky forgets to rain and the winds lose their song,
Will you sit by my side, where the quiet belongs?
Will you trace stars on my wrist,with fingers so light,
Mapping galaxies gently in the hush of the night?
Will you hum lullabies when the silence feels deep,
And guard all my dreams in the corners of sleep?
Will you hold my name like a prayer in the breeze,
When the moon hides away behind trembling trees?
And if I forget how to bloom or to sway,
Will you water my roots and ask me to stay?
Will you catch all the pieces I leave in the air,
The smiles I fake, the burdens I bear?
In the chaos of dusk, in the hush after cries,
Will you still find me beneath my disguise
