I sit in my Small plastic chair In my isolated one-house School room The empty alarm rings A protean tune for two Me, sat still Legs folded, the smell of pencil shavings in the air And you, running through the hallway Breakneck speed, lips parted, teeth bared Do it to me because You have to Because I am a fool Not quite tall enough to Take it from you
