Bathing in the dark earth. Tunnels where a heart once sat. Swallowed, shriveled, hollowed. Dissolving into the soil. The cold eternities pass. Gentle showers begin to fall. Roots intertwine, weaving the cages. Life and death are dancing. I am resting in peace.
