The happiest people really are the saddest The most helpful usually are in the direst need But we don't want to cause a ruckus So rather than against the current we flow with it Whether the flow makes us sad, anxious, or depressed - we go with it Because that's what happy people do We don't dare make life more difficult for others when we're drowning in sorrow Or make an effort to dim a light when were afraid of the dark ourselves ‘You’re always so happy’ - I hear it constantly But if they really took the time to look – they'd see a mask plastered on for 18 hours of the day (I only sleep for six) No wonder I’ve always been afraid of clowns.
