When you screamed in labor’s strife, Filling my lungs with tactical life, Ma, I had no idea what this orb would be; All I knew was wandering, free, In the warmth of your womb’s embrace, Like a caterpillar on wood, finding its place. Ready to bloom, from a caterpillar to a cocoon, Unaware of room that's full of boons. Your amnion did shield me well, Like a chrysalis providing me shell. The moment this air bloomed my lungs, I was the bug, basking under the sun, Fighting my battles to be THE son. Ma,The armour dissolved in air as the age, I cannot ensnare, And I had the burden of life, All together, bleeding on knife, Yet I am the caterpillar in the sky, With my juvenile wings I sigh, Oh! I had to be the butterfly , Once these walls of your scarf subsides. And after dysphoric yet euphoric wine, I had my last breath stealing my time, When on a soft bed I quietly lie, I honour the end, and smile as I die.

Metamorphosis of being
When you screamed in labor’s strife, Filling my lungs with tactical life, Ma, I had no idea what this orb would be; All I knew was wandering, free, In the warmth of your womb’s embrace, Like a caterpillar on wood, finding its place.
