And you are the waves and I'm the bay, Trying my best to make you stay, I wrap my arms around you, Yet you retreat without a clue, I stretch them as much as I can, Yet my grasp is never a 'ten', I wish to keep you close and confined, Oh!! my rocks can never aline, This pendulum of clock, And my love for thy, Your departure recites, the melancholic sigh. You are the muse that I never can write, For I would keep you alive in eyes, So that when I die, I die with your sight. (preserved in eyes).

The Drifting Muse
And you are the waves and I'm the bay, Trying my best to make you stay, I wrap my arms around you, Yet you retreat without a clue, I stretch them as much as I can, Yet my grasp is never a 'ten', I wish to keep you close and confined, Oh!! my rocks can never aline, This pendulum of clock, And my love for thy, Your departure recites, the melancholic sigh. You are the muse that I never can write, For I would keep you alive in eyes, So that when I die, I die with your sight. (preserved in eyes).
