BETRAYED BY SLEEP Sleep, Sleep, you've betrayed my weary eyes And you made my heart not to trust time even in the darkest of hours Who can lend me their sight? Who can sell me their peaceful slumber? I'm exhausted from witnessing the tireless industrious mosquitoes flapping their wings like a roaring lion salivating before its prey It's 5:32 a.m yet I am still doubtful of my ability to conquer this wakeful night.
