And how can I not miss thy presence, In such a delightful present, When you are the ignition of candles, The warmth of festive events. In sleek corner of the house, Lies emptiness of your spouse, Wishing we were at one place, Instead of us sitting at miles haze. On thread of indelible flowers, Petals seem to have grown too far, Your absence make minutes feel like hours, Makes me question the shooting star. In melody of eve, your fragrance I desire, Smokes, the ashes residing in my lungs, Without you, melancholy I respire. This is the heaviness and chunk, your absence sings in a choir.

Your absence
When our loved ones aren't home on festivals we miss their presence with faded zeal of the event.
