I woke up and to my suprise, Nothings there, not even cries, I went outside, just to check, No sound at all, what the heck My Mother allways said a thing, Said this would happen in spring, I never gave her word a thought, No matter how much she taught, But now I wish I'd gave her mind, Because the Monster was unkind, I saw it rip appart a man, As I watched, it quickly ran, But i knew it would come back, Just for me to be a snack.

The Quiet
I woke up and to my suprise, Nothings there, not even cries, I went outside, just to check, No sound at all, what the heck My Mother allways said a thing, Said this would happen in spring, I never gave her word a thought, No matter how much she taught, But now I wish I'd gave her mind, Because the Monster was unkind, I saw it rip appart a man, As I watched, it quickly ran, But i knew it would come back, Just for me to be a snack.
Would love any feedback and critic
