Just yesterday you were here, I held you close, my love, and kissed you near. Every moment was pure delight. With you by my side, my world shone bright.   I never thought our joy would fade away. But this morning brought a different day. Waking up with tears, a heart filled with pain, Our happiness, a fading, bittersweet refrain.   In a memory of yesterday, my love, I wait, Hopeful, yearning, for our fated fate. In that memory, we'll meet once more, I'm certain you'll come, as you did before.   There, I'll be with you; my heart will find peace. To hold you close, my longing will cease. To kiss you again, a dream I hold dear, In that memory, your love will be near.   In yesterday's memory, my love, I wait, Hopeful, yearning, for our fated fate. In that memory, we'll meet once more, I'm certain you'll come, as you did before.   In that memory, we'll reunite, my dear. Soon you'll be there, my heart's greatest cheer.
