out on the street
the kids are laughing
in the scortching heat
the sun is shining
down on the concrete
the children run around
in bare feet
the dogs chasing them
in the sprinklers
baithing suits and shorts
his and hers
the day is young
the sun is bright
nothing is wrong
and everything is right
the world of kids
what can go wrong
this day will be over
before long...
