My feelings tend to shift from up to down
and that is something that is not as funny as it sounds.
How could I be so clueless
to even think that you felt the same way I did.
To believe that you cared for just one second.
But it's my fault;
I easily get attached
knowing that it's going to hurt me in the end.
I'm a foolish girl
with no other motive than wanting to be loved.
It seems like I can't face the fact
that no one will ever love me back.
I feel like I try and try but it's not enough.
Finding love should never have to be this tough.
Should I just give up?
Because at this point, it's whatever.
But then it's extremely disappointing
to not have something that can last forever.
