Oh the road's been long and winding, and I, here, patiently waiting, have clung tightly to your smiling, ever so tightly to your smiling. Anxious as I am to go, Still I'm begging, “Let me stay. Please just give me one more day; my Love, she needs me. See her weeping? Please just give me one more day.” Another day passes; here I am, my Love still proudly by my side. When I look into her eyes, I feel as though I might survive. But alas, my Love, I'm fading, and I'm begging, “Please forgive me; I've nothing left to give you but my love. I know the road ahead seems long, but my dear, you are so strong. And I promise I will see you soon again.”

To My Love
