A thousand sounds
Crashing into my ears
A million voices
Burning Fear
Desires shattered
Thoughts fragmented
Lifeless limbs turn into
Defiance
Constantly adrift
My soul is aching
My mind is gone
The doubt forsakes me
Forsaken Night
Forbidden Heart
Rising delicacy breaking apart
Her wrist pulsate
The pain redefined
The constant reminders
Of the poor and the fine
Two million tears
Well up in the eyes
Of a little girl
Hopeless and cries
Constantly on watch
The guards are close
The thousandth time
And just like that
The world was stuck
All in time
