Perhaps the poet is making a statement about this web site and not themselves? Perhaps it is the act of writing poetry that they find "gay". There is no context for us to infer any meaning from this poem. Why is the word "gay" not capitalized? It is repeated seven times excluding the title and contains no punctuation. Why? Perhaps the poem itself is gay? Can we really infer that the author is a homosexual? What makes the author of this poem pro or anti gay? At the end of the day, "gay" is just another word in the dictionary, with many different meanings and connotations, and we come to it's definition with our own ignorance and preconceived notions. I would fain give it little more thought than I would a word like stupid.

This is easily the most insightful poem I have ever read, I applaud your use of rhyme and the deep message of the tough life homosexuals go through, truly you are a literary genius and I think we can all learn from you.
