A face flows with sadness. I am powerless to the force. The sadness disappears. Briefly, I am lifted, held close Like a rag doll, swung around. All is as it should be. Gently, I am placed back down. I know that it was all a Goodbye. I do not need or want to know why. Though but a dream This vision in equal measures, haunts and comforts me.

The Goodbye

I know that it was all a Goodbye. I do not need or want to know why. Though but a dream This vision in equal measures, haunts and comforts me.
