You punished me, and put the whip away. You spoke curses at your previous place. I knew it then that you were here to stay. I came inside to find you there for pay Under John addressing my God of lace. You punished me, and put the whip away. You charged me for a sample of DNA To test the blood for ****** disease's trace. I knew it then that you were here to stay. I bought the strongest ****** of the day And pulled it out to finish just in case. You punished me, and put the whip away. You sold yourself for something hard to say To such a softly touched suffering face. I knew it then that you were here to stay. I heard the price rise from the pew to pray On father beads for mother full of grace. You punished me, and put the whip away. I knew it then that you were here to stay.
