I could feel your strong presence
I am sure I saw some movement
...a gasp of breath probably the very final
...a twitch a faint one for sure
the floor shifted,
you had won,
but you lingered on,
if only I was brave enough to ask you why,
can this one soul please just come back and bid us all farewell
