Dark wine and cigarettes impress my mind with kissing lips. And your voice unwinds me like vinegrette. The sour scents of pitted sweat get burried under vanilla breaths. As cherry vine perforates my tongue divine. And when you lay next to me. All the twisting torments fade away. Now I've come to see, how the romance in this world can shine its pay. It's empathy for those who dare it. Sympathy for those who share it. And Reverie for those who know love's game. It's beauty in the plains, Like sweetness in the fame. And soft whispers calling out our very names.
