something that every little kid looks forward to only ends up breaking their heart, making them lay awake at two on a Saturday morning, forcing them to place just a little too much pressure between their skin and the blade. and maybe that's what it's supposed to do, being a teenager. it's supposed to teach us that life isn't a walk in the park, a leisurely morning spent watching cartoons and eating cereal. now, it's time to be a grown up. don't you know adults don't reminisce?
