Where once was life None now remains But how these fingers Remember my pain And though my silent heart No longer keeps the pace They clash and crash Upon these keys both black and white I'm drained, drowned Immersed in sound Within this darkened room Where our hearts did beat as one Forever in time Though yours will contine Within the brokeness That is my mind
