The sense of the silence in the cat's steps and movements is gives me a feeling of peace. I watch cats with amazement - the sheer beauty of their walking and leaping. One of our two cats took its ninth journey about three months ago leaving its shadow in our lives. But only after 17 years of joy and love from Sweetpea. Thanks for the excellent haiku, Traci.
