The steady sunflowers
Follow and glorify the sun
Tracking its light from dawn to dusk.
With each solar tilt
Dauntless declarations
Of unshakable hope -
Rich golden emblems of
The immortal Ukrainian nation.
After the invaders have left
In shame and failure -
Their crimes faded into
Pointless ugly memories and
Liberty sings her triumphal anthem,
Sunflowers will break the soil
And prevail in everlasting glory
Over all her shining fields and valleys.
