Against my nature, And all of my plans, I reached for you, You extended your hand, “Hold on”, You said, “I will always be there” When I lost my grip, You pulled my hair, Ignoring my tears, I begged you… ”let go”, You only yanked harder, Telling me…”no”, I am tired, My battles never ends, Are you my bully, My lover, Or friend? Tell me, I’ll listen, We can have a good life Sometimes,   Let go! And just say, I’m alright BLC©2022
