we meet in the eerie of night for our forbidden love. something so rare, so pure yet it just cannot be. at times, i feel we connect as one as we swirl and dance in the shining lights in the night sky. as i hear the crickets chirp and the water recede, i sing to you. serenade my love for you. your ivory skin and the way you gleam in the sky, everything encapsulates me. everything begins to falls into place but then it happens. i feel you slipping away as the scarlet hues in the sky appear. just in my grasps i had you in my sights, once again you leave me so quickly. as i hear the birds sing into the dawn, i softly whisper to you. we will be together, the moon and i.
