It hurts so much to see you stray but my heart knows you cannot stay Eyes hit the pavement of where we once stood Unanswered questions of what would...what would? Blurred distorted visions of who we are Fly quickly and farther than passing cars and shooting stars Our lives shined brighter as the city lights Our ambitions went farther than the clouds in the sky But then one day the fire died The fire died and thats the end No more happiness No more feelings of regret
