Love is violent. First, they open your heart And fill you with hallucinations Of pure joy and love. Then, they set it on fire with longing And that fire keeps the darkness away. Eventually, they stop responding, And that stops your heart. Desperate to stop the pain, You rip it out of your chest to stop the breathing too.

Stops your heart
Love is violent. First, they open your heart And fill you with hallucinations Of pure joy and love. Then, they set it on fire with longing And that fire keeps the darkness away. Eventually, they stop responding, And that stops your heart. Desperate to stop the pain, You rip it out of your chest to stop the breathing too.
