Was it just your pleasure To cause me such pain What did you strive for Was it pride you had to gain? Could you not just be honest Instead of filling me with lies Now I sit here feeling cheap In a blinded disguise. To open up no more For my trust was truly shattered I never thought my life would be This strung out, or battered. You made me feel important Like you really wanted me Now silence is your game Through you, I can see! If I had the chance to do it all again I would remove that night You never would have existed and I would still be alright I wouldn't have confused my relationship for something I thought would be good So, I choose to make you disappear just like I really should.
