Feel it all out now Smooth it through your fingers like An unwelcome business card feel it now before you lose it Before it gets lost In your purse In the gutter In your mind Universe be cruel Universe be sour Linger longer and i’ll be Yours The moon smirks Hides her face She knew Knew it was coming Diction be colorful Diction be prim Words fall through the floor Splash like blood made of ink Can you feel it? It rages across the boulevard and Ocean Strewn across dreams Tattered and ****** Aches like an open wound What does it feel like again? I’ll drive back home to Retrieve my body from the bay Soul purged, pitch black You’ll drive back home to Retrieve your heart Come back home to your fire We’ll see each other on the other side and we’ll Feel it all out then Smooth it through our fingers like Glass Don’t linger long
