When full mouthed leers At diner tables Traveled like coated wire cables, Through dark and red To sleep stricken fables Undermining objective labels Drawing self-chuckling grins At the hands of limbs Of fortunes grave and grim, I gave in And sank inhaling With all within reach and sight Spinning and failing Abandoned apparent right For what I thought was new beginning With you.

Where was Soloman?
When full mouthed leers At diner tables Traveled like coated wire cables, Through dark and red To sleep stricken fables Undermining objective labels Drawing self-chuckling grins At the hands of limbs Of fortunes grave and grim, I gave in And sank inhaling With all within reach and sight Spinning and failing Abandoned apparent right For what I thought was new beginning With you.
