Once, I had an angel A guardian over my dreams Though a god taught me Nothing is as it seems You left me again Left me in the dust Through means of coldness Insanity and bloodlust You had gone twice now Snatched from under my nose I had learned to pretend Always hiding my woes I grew without knowledge Paranoia, and fear Inside, grew a sense of caution That demon was drawing near
