I still remember, the rusty bookshelf, the creaky wooden floor, the loud rumbling ceiling, the cold dark room, the stressed days, the empty nights, the silent cries, the loud prayers, and the timeless thoughts I still remember, my last home As sad as it might sound, I loved it there I loved how the silence completed me, comforted me It was the time when I felt the world was mine And I long to go back Now everything had changed and off to a new chapter With all the bright lights and the tall four walls why I felt more isolated, more alone Like I lost everything When I think about it now, nothing is better Then, where is home?
