I thought I saw a fairy fly, Out my window in the sun, A glitter, a flit, caught my eye, Quick to my door I gave a run, I think I heard a laughing sprite, As the wind so softly blew, The morning sun was shining bright, With promises and magic too, I’m sure I spied the little elf, Lounging in a daffodil, Happily there all by herself, I think that she may be there still. A Glitter
