Most people would say I’m too young, Lovestruck or blind But poetry is like a song replaying in the back of my mind Now I’ll write this poem for you Like I write life One stroke at a time Then another And another Until struck one too many times And like my last breath My words die Im writing my life as I want it to be But I’m a bad author Mistakes were made Edit it out Edit it out I write you into my life more often than not Cause like the blood in my veins You’re all that I’ve got A misinterpretation of what I anticipated to happen Led me to a dark place But like a train on a track rolling through a cave You were the light at the end of that merry - go - phase Edit it out Edit it out I write you into my life Cause without you I have a pointless story I write you into my life As my wants As my desires Forgetting more often than not My needs to reach that satisfactory stage Edit it out Edit it out I write you into my life As my endless beginning Being that every time I think I want something more You show me that you’re everything I’m looking for Hell, I write you into my life Because I can’t remember .. I write you into my life Because I can’t remember Because I can’t remember ... life without you Edit it out Edit it out I write you into my life Cause 1 4 3 5 3 4 3 (i love you until the very end)

A Poem For You
