The trials of life — they take me on yet another journey Along a road as yet untraveled by even MY imagination The tempestuous winds of change blow even harder still — They knock me down — it seems for a moment that all is lost But I get back up, and I brush myself off And I feel the familiar pain, and I live the confusion Only in the darkness of sleep, will I find my safe-haven Sweet, blissful sleep — my cherished illusion Until another day brings me closer to my destination
