Smoked salmon lightly charred,
Sweetness in air like
Saccharin infused with mulch and cedar.
Barking of sled hounds
Benign touch of the dry, cold wind to
Bland your nerves
Temperatures below zero
Still welcoming
The sun peeking out from grey clouds
The beginning of a new day,
In the arms of Alaska.

Another horrible poem to melt your eyes...Well, I went to Alaska 2 years ago, so this poem is a reminiscence of the trip. As you can tell, this is based of Alaska in the summer thus the sun is still (kind of) shinning. Thanks!!!! XD
