i watched the seasons alter right before my eyes
as the lullabies of joy slowly said good bye
but to your name, my heart kept playing drums
like a flower desperate for a ray of sun
so i shut my eyes close and begged god to hear my plea
make time stop forever and let him stay with me
"please show me a miracle", i asked for help
he answered, "knowing him was a miracle itself"
