The winter that crept slowly As the fire prepares to sleep soundly If we have to live in this grim cold Know that we'll endure as we grow old For we hope that hearts will soon thaw And tomorrow bear true love without flaw As the crystal water can't wait to flow And gray sky melts with renewed glow
