It started with a wish to stand , And to see what really was on top ... That eagerness to be a bit more tall, That soon led to a flippety flop... Oh I remember that tipsy fall That would bring everyone on their knees For Hugs and kisses it would always call And the tears it would surely appease... But what nobody really knew was That the fall did not really hurt . No one understood that the actual cause Was the inability to dart. Soon this swagger became a stride And also managed a few taps And then it turned into sweet pride As it made them bring on those claps! From then on there was no looking back; with falling down, I was done, Now I had mastered every knack To not just walk but also run.. My love for running had thus begun And it will never really fade .... As I look back I realize how much fun It was ..a journey worth made.... Now with every trail I run with ease I laugh at how it all began with falling. I thank Him to have made me feel the breeze, And feel glad to have answered my calling..
