Our country is hurting
Our people are dying
I’m wearing my mask
Without even trying
Every day on the news
People fussing and fighting
Of “Where can I walk now,
I’ve done all of Briiiighton”
I know my rights
Got it saved on my phone
I’m just off to Bunning's
I won’t be forced to stay home
You think you are clever
Your whining & wailing
What the rest of us see
Is some-one UN-Australian
Your selfishness, ignorance
Is all that shines through
If it had touched your family
Then what would you do?
The families who have suffered
The lives we have lost
We can stop this from happening
For a miniscule cost
Just wear a mask
It isn’t that hard
Just take your walk
Round & round your backyard
For those of you all
With your head in the sand
When all this is over
Wash the blood off your hands.
