I thought that it would be a book
I thought it would be a painting
I thought I would have
a successful artistic creation
I have been searching for my day
when I would have it my way
I have been searching all my life
I thought it would be past the strife
that sometimes we have in life
I let relationships overcome my days
I let things fade away
I moved forward with time
just waiting for my Magnum Opus
I realize now though
it has come along
but not in a painting or with a song
creation can come in many forms
my best creation is in my womb
I am waiting because
my baby will be born soon
