I think poetry is  release of every emotion felt.  It saved me in a very trying time, when I wrote and cried then tore them up and threw them away.  Sometimes now it makes me euphoric, or makes me laugh or spins my imagination.  Poetry is the great I am, the stairway to dreams.  You state your  feelings beautifully
