Nothing more would it take
To defy the world,
To brighten the stars,
To freshen the earth.
Oh please,
Lets not result to posies.
Never promise me forever,
Promise me today.
Don't tell me you'll always be,
Because what'll you do when things go astray?
Oh, sorry, I never meant to hurt you,
Are you sure you'll be okay?
I asure you, I'll be fine,
I never promised a day more than today.
I knew not to guarantee, what I had yet seen,
As I knew it would someday lead to my dismay.
