There’s always that one summer that makes you question everything There’s always that one summer that had that one special person and that soft special spotlight on the one thing that mattered most to you in the entire world Yes. It was a hot summer. It rained, it got cold, but the humidity was still there. It ached in my spine every time I saw the sunlight. Melancholy screams through every grass fibre that softly blows from the harsh wind Of course there were the highs I never focused on the lows But when you’re miserable and not expecting, The sunset can be especially blinding to the storm cloud that reigns above your head. You start to think life can be good Till summer ends
